Cultural integration group activity
Shared values workshop
Team culture discussion
Facilitated culture alignment session
Programme Overview

Helping people move from different backgrounds to one shared culture.

Culture shapes how people communicate, make decisions, solve problems and work together. When teams grow, merge, restructure or expand into new locations, different habits and expectations can exist side by side. Without intentional integration, these differences may create confusion, friction and inconsistent ways of working.

Cultural integration is not about making everyone think the same way. It is about helping people understand shared values, respect different perspectives and build common behaviours that support organisational success.

The Strawberry Outbound Cultural Integration Programme helps organisations bring people together around a shared identity, common purpose and practical workplace behaviours. Participants explore what the culture means in action, not only as words on a wall.

Through experiential challenges, group reflection and facilitated dialogue, participants experience how values such as trust, collaboration, ownership, agility and respect show up in everyday work. They identify behaviours that strengthen culture and behaviours that create gaps between intention and reality.

The programme creates a safe, inclusive and energising space for teams to align around expectations, build relationships and commit to the way they want to work together going forward.

Values being understood intellectually but not practised consistently. New employees needing stronger connection to culture and purpose. Inconsistent behaviours across departments or business units. Communication gaps caused by different working styles. Employees feeling uncertain during organisational change. Low belonging after expansion, acquisition or leadership transition. Teams needing a common language around expected behaviours. Functional habits taking precedence over shared organisational values. Resistance to new ways of working or cultural expectations. A need to turn culture statements into visible workplace action.

Why Organisations Choose This Programme

A practical way to turn values into shared behaviour.

Organisations choose Strawberry Outbound because our Cultural Integration Programme helps people experience culture rather than only hear about it.

We create shared experiences that reveal how culture shows up in communication, decisions, teamwork and leadership behaviour. This gives participants a practical reference point for discussing values and expectations.

Every programme is customised to the organisation's context, whether the need is merger integration, new team formation, values rollout, leadership alignment or culture building during growth.

Clients value our ability to create honest, inclusive and energising conversations around culture without making the experience feel theoretical or forced.

The result is stronger alignment, greater belonging and a clearer understanding of how people can contribute to the culture through everyday behaviour.

Client Spotlight

Aligning Two Teams After a Regional Business Integration

A fast-growing consumer products organisation had recently integrated two regional business teams after a structural change. Both teams had strong performance histories, but they followed different ways of working, communication rhythms and decision-making styles. Leaders noticed that while employees were cooperative, they had not yet developed a shared sense of identity.

The organisation wanted to create an integration experience that would help employees understand one another, align around common values and build confidence in the new operating model.

Strawberry Outbound designed a full-day Cultural Integration Programme combining experiential challenges, values-based reflection and facilitated team conversations. Participants were intentionally mixed across regions, roles and reporting lines.

During the programme, teams worked through activities that required trust, communication, decision-making and adaptation. As the sessions progressed, participants began to see how different assumptions and habits influenced collaboration.

Facilitators helped the group connect these insights to workplace situations such as handoffs, meetings, escalation, customer commitments and leadership expectations. Participants discussed what behaviours they wanted to preserve from each legacy culture and what new behaviours were needed for the integrated organisation.

By the end of the programme, the group had created practical working agreements around communication, ownership, inclusion and decision-making. Leaders observed stronger openness and a greater willingness to collaborate across the newly integrated structure.

In the months that followed, the organisation reported smoother cross-regional coordination, improved trust between teams and a stronger shared identity. The programme became an important milestone in helping employees move from two separate cultures to one aligned way of working.
